Abstract

Teleworking has established itself as an unavoidable modality in companies, profoundly transforming managerial practices. This paper presents a systematic literature review aimed at exploring the strategies, tools and challenges associated with managing teleworking employees. Based on a rigorous analysis of academic articles from international databases (Scopus, Web of Science), it highlights key issues such as remote communication, performance management, maintaining employee commitment and preventing professional isolation. At the same time, the study identifies innovative approaches, including the use of digital technologies and transformational leadership, to meet the needs of geographically dispersed teams. Finally, this review offers food for thought for future research and practical recommendations to support managers in a hybrid or fully remote work environment.
