On September 8, 2023, an earthquake of Mw 6.8 struck the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco: 3,000 people died and i around 5,500 others injured. This study examines aspects of the Al Haouz earthquake focusing on its economic consequences and how its dimensions are interconnected within the affected province? In our research, we aim to document the post-seismic consequences through a description of the situation with the aim of measuring the consequences which can improve our ability to predict seismic risks. Our research essentially uses survey instruments to measure the consequences of the earthquake, the economic variable. The results of our study highlighted the different perceptions of change within the population, with certain sectors, such as agriculture, experiencing notable changes after the earthquake. The results highlight the importance of a sectoral analysis and the need for targeted interventions to deal with the consequences of the seismic event.Downloads
