Abstract

This study examines the impact of standardization on organizational structures and behaviors in the cleaning sector in Morocco. It is based on a literature review exploring the importance of standards, the objectives of standardization, and its influence on organizational behavior. The research methodology focuses on the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, using simple random sampling of 85 companies. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire covering standardization practices, its impact on performance, and employee behavior. The empirical results, based on descriptive and inferential statistical analyses (ANOVA), show that standardization has significant positive effects on operational efficiency, cost reduction, service quality, and, to some extent, on organizational citizenship behaviors (OCB) and continuous training. However, the impact on employee satisfaction is less pronounced. The study also highlights opportunities for improvement in the areas of continuous training, circular economy practices, and hazardous waste management.
