The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into the higher education system is a significant global revolution, generating both great interest due to its potential revolutionary capabilities and important questions about its impacts. This article proposes a detailed and multidimensional conceptual model, called the "Framework for the Integration of Artificial Intelligence in Moroccan Higher Education" (CIAESM), which can serve as a primary reference for analysis and strategic guidance when integrating AI into a Moroccan university system under increasing pressure due to the rising number of students and growing demands regarding the quality of education and the employability of graduates. This framework was developed based on a theoretical study that thoroughly analysed existing literature. It presents the most significant dimensions of the impact of AI on the higher education sector, examines the distinct characteristics related to the context of use, and highlights the key facilitating and moderating factors to ensure successful integration. It also establishes the expected outcomes in light of the Moroccan educational system. The ambition is to provide policymakers, university governance bodies, researchers, and the Moroccan academic community with a reliable and predictive analysis model that can serve as a strategic and ethical roadmap for the integration of artificial intelligence in Moroccan universities.
