Social entrepreneurship and unemployment have been the subject of debate since the 1980s. Indeed, there is a profound relationship between these two concepts. Social entrepreneurship plays a major role in reducing unemployment by offering innovative solutions and engaging participants in an entrepreneurial dynamic. Thus, social entrepreneurship could serve as a channel for self-employment, but it is necessary to understand how to exploit its potential. In this article, we examine the link between social entrepreneurship and job creation dynamics in Morocco that lead to a reduction in unemployment. This is particularly relevant for the period from 2020 to 2025, which is marked by difficult economic conditions due to successive crises. The approach used is the PRISMA Statement method combined with a literature review. In this context, we examined the content of 26 articles published between 2020 and 2025. Our approach is based on a descriptive review of the 26 articles and a thematic review of 7 articles. Nvivo software is used to visualize the word landscape. Our analysis highlights the relevance of social entrepreneurship as a driver of job creation by seizing territorial opportunities. In conclusion, the article provides an up-to-date overview and a comprehensive analysis of the main concepts of our research. Finally, this study suggests future research perspectives and a guide for for work on social entrepreneurship.
