The relationship between cooperatives and social inclusion is a topic of interest in recent research studies. In contemporary societies, marginalized groups often face barriers that prevent them from fully participating in economic, political and social spheres, so social inclusion remains a pressing challenge. The aim of this article is to explore the central role of cooperatives as catalysts for social inclusion, drawing on extensive theoretical frameworks and empirical evidence from the case study of local cooperatives in the territorial commune of Bzou Province Azilal. Through semi-directive interviews with members of cooperatives in the Bzou territory, this study analyzes the various mechanisms of social inclusion through cooperative membership. The results show that local cooperatives have empowered marginalized communities, fostered economic opportunities and promoted the social inclusion of their members, while giving them access to various services and products, active participation and recognition within their society.Downloads
