Quality management has become a necessity and a priority for businesses, especially hospitals. Management practices are used differently in Malian hospitals, particularly district hospitals. The aim was to study the impact of managers' management practices on the quality of care in district hospitals in the city of Bamako. The study revealed that the practices frequently used by managers in district hospitals were decision-making, communication, delegation of authority, leadership, risk management, recruitment, training, remuneration, motivation, job descriptions, and career management. The majority of district hospitals in the communes had a good level of quality of care, respectively in Commune I (65.29%), 71.68% in Commune IV, 78.10% in Commune V, and 62.93% in Commune VI. This rate was passable in the district hospital of Commune II (56.84%) and excellent in Commune III (81.16%). Regarding the link between managerial practices and the level of quality of care, the study reveals that decision-making practices, job descriptions, compensation, career management, communication, and self-assessment all had a statistically significant relationship, thus a positive influence on the quality of care. Recruitment and training practices also had no statistically significant relationship with the level of quality of care. Although managerial practices are multiple, most have an impact on the quality of care. Good managerial practices will result in better quality of care and, above all, client satisfaction, taking all dimensions into account.
