This study uses both bibliometric and systematic review methods to analyze FinTech-banking research from 2016 to 2024. It shows a quickly growing global field, with a shift in focus from disruption to cooperative competition. While quantitative methods are well-developed, there is a shortage of qualitative insights. Major gaps include geographical bias, outdated theories, and unclear partnership models. The suggested agenda calls for diverse methods, comparative studies, and investigations into AI and blockchain. This synthesis provides a clear roadmap for researchers and practical guidance for industry and policy experts dealing with the digital transformation of finance.
