Abstract

This study primarily aims to investigate the dynamic relationships between managerial innovation, managerial performance, and the strategic environment on one hand; and on the other hand, it seeks to analyze the reciprocal interrelations between these concepts. Research conducted with the help of the NVivo application has shown that the three subjects are interconnected, and that innovation plays the most important role among them. Indeed, managerial innovation demonstrates that a company can adapt to varying circumstances and efficiently optimizing available resources. Managerial performance can also be described as an indicator of the success of adopted innovation, as it aims to improve individual and organizational performance. As for the strategic environment, it significantly conditions the firms' possibilities to adopt and invent innovative managerial practices. Consequently, the results of this analysis suggest a strong interdependence between the three subjects of discussion, and investments in these three areas should be made simultaneously to create a successful and competitive company. Thus, investment in innovation should be linked to investment in understanding the environment and improving performance.
